📋 Instructions

A Thief's Journey is a 2D stealth game about a thief stealing well-known artifacts and other relics using the mouse. To move the thief, move the cursor to the tile you want him to move to and then click the Left Mouse Button. The goal is to steal the treasure in each area which will sit highlighted on a specific tile. There will be a timer in the corner of the level area ticking down. If it runs out, you get caught, or set off any alarms on your way over to it, you'll fail and will need to retry the heist.

This is both a stealth and puzzle game where the puzzle is how you navigate the room. Each room will only have a certain amount of tiles that the thief can stand on. As long as they're open, the thief can move freely between them. When obstacles and security measures are introduced the thief needs to be able to move around them while using the tiles as safe spaces. You can only stand on each tile once but can return to the tile you last stood on. Once the thief gets his hands on the treasure, he'll bag it up and the level will be completed. Certain tiles will be linked to obstacles which you'll need to stand on to remove them.
