📝 Description

Rovercraft is an exciting arcade journey, played on the hills of distant planets on a rover constructed by you. Since you design your vehicle, its success depends on YOU!!

Equip your vehicle with jet engines, reactors, super-wheels and plenty of other upgrades and take the challenge of climbing the steep mountains of exotic planets. Drive your monster rover carefully – there are many dangers ahead. You might run out of fuel, meet a steep and rugged slope, your vehicle may lose its wheels, or your pilot may get a tear in his space suit.

📋 Instructions

Rovercraft is a 2D driving game about driving rovers on different space surfaces using only the keyboard or mouse. The onscreen controls can be used by moving the cursor over to them and clicking the Left Mouse Button. By using the Left/Right Arrow keys, you can move the rover in the respective directions. The amount of energy and the terrain map will be shown at the bottom of the screen. The goal is to drive the rover as far as possible but if you run out of energy or the astronaut gets injured, then you'll need to restart.

After completing the tutorial, you'll have the option to go through levels on different planets or to complete challenges. The latter will give you an assembled rover that you'll need to drive to the finish line, while the latter challenges you to make your rover and drive it as far as you can. Before you start driving, you can outfit your rover with new parts or upgrade its current parts, but both will cost coins and mercury. You can earn both by driving, collecting, and completing tasks that will net you more rewards. Whenever your rover stops, you'll be rewarded for how far you traveled.

The further you get, the more progress you make in unlocking other planets. You can also unlock new outfits for the astronaut by completing missions.
