📋 Instructions

Rescue Hero is a 2D puzzle game about pulling pins to help a hero through his trials using the mouse. By moving the cursor to the ring of a pin, click and hold the Left Mouse Button and then drag the cursor to pull it out. You can also simulate swiping to do things like cut ropes by holding the Left Mouse Button and dragging the cursor across the thing you want to cut. The goal of each level is to help the hero achieve the listed objective.

Each level begins with the hero spawning in a random part of the castle. There will be pins inserted throughout with act as walls and platforms to support characters and assets. The hero will have to achieve one of several goals: Defeat all enemies, get the treasure, or save the princess.

The hero begins unarmed and so will need to get his hands on a weapon in order to confront enemies. Enemies can also be dealt with by dropping objects on them or getting them to fight each other. Some enemies like dragons can't be fought and need to be dealt with in other ways. The treasure can take the form of mixed valuables or a treasure chest which is vulnerable to lava. The princess will be trapped in a part of the castle and is vulnerable to lava, falling objects, and enemies. To complete each objective, you need to pull the pins to create a safe path for the hero to follow to get what he needs or deal with the threats by moving elements around. If the hero or princess is harmed or the treasure is destroyed, you'll need to retry the level.
