Mining Up

📝 Description

You wake up, confused. It’s pitch black except for a single torch in your hand. You look up, and what you see only adds to your confusion. Above you is a wall of stone, and you know you are deep underground. Looking around on the ground, you find a wooden pickaxe. Soon, you realize that the only thing you can do is start digging.

Merge pickaxes, collect resources, and mine straight up!

CONTROLS:
- The game is split into two phases, merging and mining.
- “S” to save and “L” to load your game.
MINING PHASE:
- Drag your mouse to control the cart.
- Collect the resources to earn money.
- Higher level pickaxes have more durability and mine faster.
- Once every pickaxe runs out of durability, you go to the merging phase.
- Mine into the next layer to be able to buy higher level pickaxes.
MERGING PHASE:
- Use money to buy more pickaxes and upgrades.
- Drag together two pickaxes of the same type in the grid or the lanes to merge them into a higher level pickaxe.
- Click a pickaxe and click the text bubble to sell it.

UPGRADES:
- Efficiency: multiplies your mining damage (starts at 1).
- Crit Chance: increases your chance to deal 3x damage (starts at 0%).
- Lucky Merge: increases your chance to get a +1 level pickaxe when merging (starts at 0%).

Mining Up invites gamers to delve into an underground journey. Click to mine resources, and advance by merging tools for better efficiency. Upgrade pickaxes to dig deeper and unlock secrets. This combination of mining and merging mechanics ensures that every click leads to greater mining success.

Use the mouse to guide your cart and gather resources. Merge two identical pickaxes for an upgrade. Press "S" to save and "L" to load. Keep an eye on durability. A helpful tip: focus on merging to boost your mining capability and reach new depths quicker.
