Clouds and Sheep 2 is a 2.5D casual game about taking care of sheep in various environments using the mouse. To interact with UI elements or the sheep, move the cursor to them and click the Left Mouse Button. You can also hold and drag to move things around and play with the sheep in certain ways. The goal is to take care of your sheep and then use the happiness they give you to improve the conditions of the pasture. You can keep this going for as long as you want, moving into new spaces, and getting more sheep.

When you begin, you'll start with one grown sheep roaming the pasture. To make the sheep happy, you must ensure it has food like grass and water to drink. You also need to play with the sheep by poking it and moving it in small bursts. When a sheep is happy, it will generate Happy Stars which can be used to buy things from the Luggage Bag. You can buy things like more sheep and items like shears to use. Clouds that move across the sky can be combined to make rain clouds which will produce water. When two sheep fall in love, they'll bring a new sheep into the pasture. The more sheep you have, the more you need to expand or unlock other environments. You'll also level up by completing quests and this will unlock new items to buy.

Other natural elements like trees and flowers can produce other materials. This can be combined to create certain pieces that you can use to decorate the pasture.
